Located 70 Kms South West of Madurai is Srivilliputhur, the birthplace of Andal and considered to be among the holiest of the 108 Divya Desams. This is the birthplace of not one but two Azhvaars and a father-daughter one at that-PeriAzhvaar and Andal. On November 22nd 2015, there was a grand Satrumurai and Sevakalam to the Divyadampathis with arulicheyal and Parayana Ghosti. Later Sri Rangamannar along with His Consorts gave dharshan in Kannadi arai. Many devotees participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
