Located about 50kms from Madras on the Madras-Arakkonam rail route is Veera Raghava Perumal koil in Thiru Evvalur (now Thiruvellur). On November 22nd 2015, Kaisika Ekadasi and HH 45th Azhagiyasingar Thirunakshatra Utsavam was celebrated at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple. Perumal and Ubhayanachiyars had beautiful alangaram and Purappadu took place for Divyadampathis and Acharya. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis and Acharya.
