Thirukarthigai Deepam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Azhagiya Singaperumal Temple, Thiruvelukkai Divyadesam. On November 26th 2015, Perumal along with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram and in the evening Thirukarthigai Deepam was lit in all the sannadhis of temple and witnessed the burning of Sokkapanai. Maha Arathi took place for the Divyadampathis. Later Theertham, Sadari was distributed to the devotees. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
