Irapathu of Thiruadhyayana Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Adhi Jagannatha Perumal Temple, Thirupullani Divyadesam. On December 22nd 2015, being Vaikunta Dwadasi, Sri Adhi Jagannatha Perumal had beautiful alangaram and entered through paramapada vasal and blessed the devotees followed by Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and Parayana Ghosti. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Sri Adhi Jagannatha Perumal and Azhwar. 8kms South East of Ramanathapuram on the Keelakarai Road is Thirupullani, located on the banks of river Sethu (Sethu Karai). This temple dates back to a time before Raama Avataaram.
