Irapathu of Thiruadhyayana Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Sowmiyanarayana Perumal Temple, Thirukoshtiyur Divyadesam. On December 28th 2015, in the evening Sri Sowmiyanarayana Perumal had Purappadu in Kudhirai Vahanam and in this temple, the story of ‘Vedupari’ is enacted every year as part of the eighth day celebrations of the Irapathu festival. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and Parayana Ghosti. Thousands of devotees participated in this occasion to have the dharshan of Sri Sowmiyanarayana Perumal and received the blessings.
