Kanu Pidi is a tradition that the ladies and young girls of the house follow for the well being of their brothers and the family. On January 16th 2016, Kanu Pongal was celebrated in a grand manner at Selaiyur Sri Ahobila Mutt. On this occasion, several ladies performed Kanu Pidi in the presence of Srimad Azhagiyasingar. Later Prasadham was distributed to the devotees. Several Bakthas participated in the Kanu Pidi Utsavam and received the blessings of Srimad Azhagiyasingar.
