Makara Sankaranthi Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Sowmiyanarayana Perumal Temple, Thirukoshtiyur. On January 15th 2016, Sri Perumal and Thayar had beautiful alangaram followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu and had Oonjal Sevai. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and parayana ghosti. Many Bakthas participated and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
