Sriperumbudur is the Avathara Sthalam of Swami Ramanujar (Than Uganda Thriumeni) and Thai Thiruvadirai was celebrated grandly. On January 22nd 2016, Thirumanjanam was performed and in the evening Thiruveethi Purappadu took place with grand arulicheyal and parayana ghosti. After that asthanam and satrumurai sevakalam took place in the temple. Several devotees participated in the Purappadu and received the blessings of Swami Ramanujar.
