Thai Amavasai Purappadu took place well at Thirukoshtiyur Sri Sowmiyanarayana Perumal Temple. On February 8th 2016, Sri Perumal had Vibishana Sevai followed by Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several Bakthas participated in the Purappadu and received the blessings of Sri Sowmiyanarayana Perumal.
