Theppotsavam commenced in a grand manner at Sri Adhikesava Perumal Temple, Mylapore. On February 8th 2016, Sri Adhikesava Perumal along with His Consorts had beautiful alangaram and in the evening Purappadu took place for Divyadampathis along with Peyazhwar to Pushkarani for Theppotsavam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several devotees participated in the Theppotsavam and received the blessings of Divyadampathis and Peyazhwar.
