Thai Vellikizhamai Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Mylapore Sri Vedantha Desikar Devasthanam (SVDD) Srinivasa Perumal Temple. On February 12th 2016, in the evening Sri Thayar had beautiful alangaram followed by Ul Purappadu on Thanga Kedayam and Oonjal Sevai was performed. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Later theertham, satari and prasadham was distributed to the devotees. Several devotees participated and received the blessings of Sri Thayar.
