Thirumanjanam was performed for Sri Perumal and Swami Desikan at Kurichi Abheeshta Varadaraja Perumal Temple. On February 23rd 2016, in the morning Sri Perumal along with His Consorts and Swami Desikan had Thirumanjanam followed by Purappadu on Garuda Vahanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many Bakthas participated in the event and received the blessings of Divyadampathis and Swami Desikan.
