As part of ongoing Chithirai Brahmotsavam at Thirukadalmallai Sri Sthalasayana Perumal Temple, Day 2 Utsavam was celebrated in a grand manner. On April 17th 2016, in the morning Sri Perumal had Yaali Vahana Alangaram followed by Thiruveethi Purappadu. Later in the evening Sri Perumal had Simha Vahanam and Thiruveethi Purappadu took place. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many devotees participated in the Brahmotsavam and received the blessings of Divyadampathis.
