The Annual Festival of Sri.Madhava Perumal is taking place from 21.4.2016 to 30.04.2016 with 4000 divya prabandha sevai and sathumarai. Please note that the annual income of the temple is below rs.10,000/-. Even with this the temple staffs such as archakar and paricharka could not be paid well where charitable trust/philanthropic person help the temple for performance of daily pooja. For this utsavam we have a few upadars. The following expenses are to be incurred by us for which we have no upayadars.

Thiruthevanarthogai is one of 108 Vaishnava divya desams and among one in 11 divya desams of thirunangur.The temple was sung by Sri.Thirumangai Azhwar. The temple is under the control of Hereditary Trustees.
Madhava Perumal koil in Devanar Thogai on Keezha Salai is said to be the place where the Devas came in groups and congregated to have darshan of Lord Vishnu in his 11 different forms. The Lord here is from Thiru Vidanthai. It is believed that Sage Vashista undertook penance here and had darshan of the Lord.t’s been said that Lord Narayana married Goddess Lakshmi Devi who emerged out of the Thiruparkadal at this place. As the Deva’s (celestial persons) came in a group (Thogai in Tamil) this place is called Thiru Devanar Thogai. It is situated on the South bank of river Manni. It is believed that, after having dharsan of this perumal, unmarried persons get married and childless couples got the boon of child birth.
