On the sunny morning of the on-going annual Brahmotsavams of Lord Govindaraja Swamy the processional deity of Lord Govindaraja Swamy was taken out in a grand procession on ‘Chinna Sesha Vahanam’ around the holy mada’ streets encircling the holy shrine, on May 15th 2016.
Led by the elephants, horses and bulls forming part of the temple paraphernalia, the procession of the deity on the celestial carrier ‘Chinna’ attracted the attention of one and all.
The grand procession of Lord Govindaraja Swamy on the second day of Salakatla Brahmotsavam on the beautiful Hamsa Vahanam is colourful feast to the tens of thousands of eyes. Lord Govindaraja Swamy blessed his devotees as Veenapani Saraswati atop Hamsa or Swan.
