Vaikasi Sukravara Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Thiruchitrakootam Divyadesam. On June 10th 2016, in the evening Sri Pundarikavalli Thayar had beautiful alangaram followed by Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Many devotees participated in the Sukravara Purappadu and received the blessings of Sri Thayar.
