After donning the attires of Vajra Kavacham and Muttangi Kavacham on first and second days of the three-day annual festival of Jyesthabhishekam, the processional deity of Lord Sri Malayppa Swamy is back in his original splendour wearing the Swarna Kavacham on June 19th 2016. The three-day Jeshtabhishekam concluded in Tirumala on a religious note with Shatakalasa Tirumanjanam and special abhishekam which were performed to the deities on a specially arranged plat form in the Kalyana Mandapam in Sampangi Prakaram in Srivari temple between 8am to 11am.
Later the deities were rendered Kavacha Pratishta where in the Golden Coat was decorated to Lord Malayappa Swamy and then taken to Sahasra Deepalankara Seva in the evening.
