Irattai Purappadu took place in a grand manner at Thiruvallur Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple. On June 24th 2016, being Sravanam, in the evening Sri Perumal with His Consorts and Swami Desikan had Maada Veethi Purappadu followed by Sri Perumal, Sri Thayar and Swami Desikan Ul Purappadu. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place in the midst of ghosti parayanam. Many devotees participated in the Irattai Purappadu (Sravanam & Sukravara Purappadu) and received the blessings of Divyadampathis and Swami Desikan.
