Selva Nambi Thirunakshatra Utsavam is scheduled to take place at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Perunkaranai. The thiruavatha utsavam will take place for three days from 28 August 2016 to 30 August 2016 at Sri Bhoomi Neela Perundevi Gotha Nayika Sametha Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Perunkaranai, Mudhukulathur vattam, Ramanathapuram. Temple committee invites all astikas to take part in the Thiruavathara Utsavam and get the anugraham of Thayar and Perumal.
