On 16th November 2016, Durmukhi Varusha Karthikai Rohini; Karthikai Maasapirappu purappadu took place in grand manner at Srinivasa Perumal Temple at Mylapore. On this occasion, Sri Srinivasa Perumal with his consorts had thiruveedhi purappadu in the temple streets of mylapore. Many astikas took part in the purappadu and had the blessings of Divyadampatis.
