108 Divya Desa Ula: 4 Volume Book

Divya Desams refer to the 108 Lord Vishnu temples, which are revered by the 12 Azhwars in the Divya Prabandham (a collection of 4000 Tamil pasurams). Of those 108 temples, 105 are located in India, one in Nepal and other two outside of the earthy realms. Significance of the 108 Divya Desam are explained and composed in different type of book by various authors but the book named 108 Divya Desa Ula (http://haristore.com/index.php/108-4-books.html)  scripted by Sri Prabhusankar is relatively more descriptive compared with other books. The book is distributed into four parts where each book has approximately 290 pages and the content is explained in Tamil. 108 Divya Desa Ula explains about 108 temples puranams, significance of uchavar, moolavar and origin of those deities along with pictorial representation. Utsavams celebrated in each temple is symbolised and Pasurams sung for 108 Vishnu temples by Azhwars are categorised. Moreover, a detailed map to reach the temple is represented in the book as well as person to contact for more information about the temple and recommendations of places to stay during the temple visit is also included in this book.
