On July 4, 2017 (Hevilambi Aani Visakam), Ekadasi purappadu took place for Sri Devathirajan at Kanchi Sri Varadaraja Perumal Koil in the evening. Day 9 of the ongoing Kodai Utsavam was also celebrated on the same day. Perumal and Ubhaya Nachiyars gave darshan to devotees in beautiful pushpa (flower) alankaram. Several astikas took part in this occasion.
