On 28th July 2017 (Hevilambi Aadi Uthiram), Thirunangur Sri Van Purushoththama Perumal Temple grandly celebrated Aadi Velli Purappadu. Sri Purushotthama Nayaki Thayar was decorated beautifully and purappadu took place inside the temple premises. Several astikas took part in the purappadu and had blessings of Thayar.
