Hevilambi varusha Aavani Swathi, Sri Bhaktositha Perumal, Thirupavitrotsva Sathumurai, pooranahuti and purapadu took place on August 27, 2017 (Sunday) at Thirukkadigai (Sholingur). Perumal decorated with garland and pavitrams enjoyed purappadu, later homams were performed and poornahuthi was conducted. A lot of astikas attended the grand event and received the blessings of Perumal and Thayar. Earlier today (August 28, 2017), after the conclusion of the Pavithrotsavam, Sri Akkarakanni (Sri Bhaktositha Perumal) returned to the Oorkoil from the Thirumalai.
