Sanikizhamai purappadu took place grandly on August 26, 2017 (Saturday, Hevilambi Avani Chitrai) at Thiruvahindrapuram Sri Devanathan Divya Desam. Sri Devanthan along with ubhaya nachimars enjoyed the madaveedhi purappadu. Many asthikas took part in the utsavam and received the blessings of Sri Devanatha Perumal and Thayars.
