The annual Thirupavitrotsavam of Sri Pallikonda Ranganatha Perumal Temple at Thirunangur was celebrated grandly on August 27, 2017 (Hevilambi Avani Swathi). Perumal adorned the colorful silk pavitrams along with the best flower garlands. Perumal enjoyed thirumadaveedhi purappadu on Garuda vahanam in the morning followed by theerthavavi. Several asthikas took part in the utsavam and received the blessings of Sri Ranganayaki thayar and Sri Pallikonda Ranganatha perumal.
