Kanchipuram Sri Perundhevi Thayar weekly sukravara (Friday) ul-purapadu, took place on a grand note on 1st September. Thayar decorated beautifully with a jasmine garland and dark violet saree and mesmerized the many astikas who had come to seek her blessings. After the ul-purapadu thayar headed back to the unjal mandapam.
