The annual thirupavitrotsvam of Kattuputhur Sri Prasanna Venkataramana Swamy Temple took place recently on a grand note in the Hevilambi Avani month. Ankurarpanam, mruthsanghrahanam, adivasam, pavitrasamarpanai, poornahuthi etc were conducted as part of the utsavam. Several astikas from in and around the village took part in the event and received the blessings of Sri Prasanna Venkataramana Perumal.
