On September 4, 2017, Sri Hevilambi Varusha Aavani Masa Sravanam; Swami Desikan Masa Thirunakshatram was celebrated in grand manner at Thirukannamangai Divya Desam. On this occasion, in the morning Vishesha thirumanjanam was done for Swami Desikan followed by goshti parayanam and Swami Desikan purappadu Swami Desikan Thiruveedhi purappadu took place at 5 pm in the temple streets of Thirukkannamangai. Many astikas took part in the masa thirunkshatra purappadu and had the blessings of Sri Hayagreevar and Swami Desikan.
108 திவ்ய தேசத்தில் ஒன்றான திருக்கண்ணமங்கை திவ்ய தேசத்தில் ஸ்ரீ பக்தவத்ஸலப் பெருமாள் திருக்கோயிலில் வடவண்டை ப்ரகாரத்தில் எழுந்தருளியுள்ள ஸ்ரீ நிகமாந்த மஹா தேஸிகனுக்கு இன்று ஹேவிளம்பி வருஷ ஆவணி 19 (04.09.2017) திங்கட்கிழமை ஸ்ரவணத்தை முன்னிட்டு காலை ஸ்ரீ ஹயக்ரீவன், ஸ்ரீ தேஸிகனுக்கு விசேஷ திருமஞ்சனமும், மாலை 5 மணிக்கு அருளிச்செயல் கோஷ்டியுடன் திருவீதிப் புறப்பாடு ஆகி உள்ளே எழுந்தருளி, திருவாராதனம் கண்டருளி சாற்றுமுறை நடைபெற்றது. ஏராளமான பக்தர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு தரிசித்து ஸ்ரீ ஹயக்ரீவன், ஸ்ரீ நிகமாந்த மஹா தேசிகனின் அருளைப் பெற்றனர்.
