On September 17, 2017 (Hevilambi Purattasi Ayilyam), masa pirappu purappadu was conducted in a grand manner at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple, Thiruvallur. Srimath Adivan Satakopan Thirunakshatra Utsavam (Day 1) was commenced on the same day. In the evening, with His consorts, Sri Veeraraghava Perumal had thiruveethi purappadu along with Srimath Adivan Satakopan. The Acharyan’s thirunakshatram will be celebrated on September 26, 2017 (Purattasi Kettai) this year.
Several astikas participated in the purappadu and had blessings of Divya Dampathis and the Acharyan.
