On September 29, 2017, (Hevilambi Purattasi Pooradam), Maha Navami Thirumanjanam was performed at Sri Kothandaramaswamy Devasthanam, Perumudivakkam. Maha Navami is the ninth day of the Navarathri utsavam and is the final day of worship before Vijaya Dashami, the end of Navratri. On this occasion, beautiful alankarams were done for Sri Lakshmi Hayagreevar, Sri Andal, Sri Seetha Lakshmana Hanuman sametha Sri Kothandaramaswamy, Sri Nammalwar, Thirumangai Azhwar, Sri Navaneetha Krishnan, and Chakkarathalwar.
