On October 1, 2017 (Hevilambi Purattasi Thiruvonam), the 750th Thirunakshatram of Swami Desikan was celebrated grandly at Sri Vaidhya Veeraraghava Perumal Temple, Thiruvallur. In the morning, Swami Desikan in beautiful rathnangi vastram performed mangalasasanam. This was followed by Satrumurai Thirumanjanam for Sri Veeraraghava Perumal and Ubhaya Nachiyars, Sri Kanavalli Thayar and Swami Desikan as well as thriuveedhi purappadu in the evening.
