On October 1, 2017 (Hevilambi Purattasi Thiruvonam), the 750th Thirunakshatram of Swami Desikan was celebrated grandly at Sri Balaji Mandir, Dombivli. The utsavar and ubhaya nachiyars along with Swami Desikan had purappadu in the evening followed by a grand sattrumurai. Several abhimanis attended the utsavam and received the blessings of the acharyan and the Divya Dampathis.
