On, 23 January, 2018, Hevilambi varusha Thai Revathi, Thai pushya Brahmotsavam commences in very grand manner at Sri Saranatha Perumal Temple,Thirucherai. In the early morning Dwajarohanam took place at Dwajasthamabam . In the evening of day 1 utsavam Perumal purappadu with his Consorts took place grandly.
On day 2 morning perumal gave scintillating darshan in Pallaku during purappadu in Ramavathara thirukkolam ( Kanden seethayai) .Likeswise in the evening Perumal in Venugopalan thirukkolam Purappadu in surya prabhai took place in the temple streets of Thirucherai. Lot of astikas took part in the day 1 & 2 of ongoing Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of Sri Saranatha Perumal.
