On, 24th January 2018, Hevilambi Varusha Thai Aswini; is the day of Rathasapthami. Perumal Purappadu took place in grand manner at Sri Devarajaswami Temple, Kanchipuram. In the early morning, Sri Devaperumal with his consorts ezhundarulal to Vahana Mandapam. Later Sri Devaperumal Thiruveedhi Purappadu in Surya Prabhai took place to Thiruvadi kovil via sannadhi Street. Later asthanam at kovil and in the evening Perumal purappadu in chandra prabhai to thiruvadi kovil. Lot of srivaishnavas took part in the Prabhandam and Veda parayana Goshti . Many Astikas took part in the Perumal thiruveedhi Purappadu in surya prabhai and had the blessings of Perumal.
