On 27nth March 2018 (Hevilambi Varusham panguni poosam) the 8th day of the panguni brahmotsavam was celebrated in Sri Vanamamalai Perumal Temple, Nanguneri. In the morning, Perumal was dressed up with blue color vasthram and Thayar wore yellow color vasthram. The crown for Perumal was beautifully fixed, Thayar was adorned with several necklaces and was decorated beautifully garland of jasmines. Perumal and Thayar had purappadu on palanquin and one mirror was placed inside it. In the evening Perumal and Thayar were dressed up with blue color vasthram. Perumal had purappadu on aswa vahanam and Thayar had purappadu on sesha vahanam. They gave scintillating darshan to the devotees. Several astikas participated in the Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of the Divyadampathis.
