On 28th March 2018 (Hevilambi Varusham panguni Aayilyam) the 9th day of the panguni brahmotsavam was celebrated at Sri Vanamamalai Perumal Temple, Nanguneri. In the morning, Perumal and Thayar dressed up with yellow color vasthram and Perumal wore Kaasu maalai and several types of Thattai pathakkam. Thayar was adorned with Saaya Kondai, Kaasu Malai , Thattai Padhakkam,several necklaces. DivyaDampathis was decorated beautifully with garland of jasmines. Perumal and Thayar were taken to ThangaTher which was placed outside the Temple. After that, They had purappadu on the Temple streets. They gave scintillating darshan to the devotees. Several astikas participated in the Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of the Divyadampathis.
