On 30th March 2018(Hevilambi Varusha Panguni Pooram), the 8th day of the Panguni Brahmotsavam was celebrated grandly at Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Thirunaraiyur. In the morning Perumal was dressed up with blue color vasthram and Thayar wore white color saree. DivyaDampathis was decorated beautifully with kaasu malai, several pendants and chains and they were adorned with jasmine flower followed by a thick garland of roses. Perumal and Thayar had Vennai thazhi Thirukolam and had Thiruveethi purappadu. In the evening Perumal wore green color vasthram with blue color border. He had purappadu on Kuthirai vahanam in the temple streets of Nachiyar Kovil with Arulicheyal and Veda Parayana goshti. Several astikas participated in the Panguni Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of DivyaDampathis.
