On 1st April 2018 (Hevilambi Varusha Panguni Hastham), the 10th day of the Sri RamaNavami Utsavam was celebrated well at Sri Kothandaramar Temple, Alwarpet. In the morning, ThiruKalyanam was celebrated on the occasion with Maalai Maatral and Thirumaangalya Dharanam. Sri Ramar and Sita Piratti gave scintillating darshan to the devotees. Ramar in His blue vasthram had bow and arrow. In the evening, DivyaDampathis had great alangaram in Pattabiraman Thirukolam. Sri Ramar wore light green vasthram and Seetha Piratti wore violet silk saree. DivyaDampathis was decorated beautifully with kaasu malai, several necklace and flower garlands. The flower garlands were made of tulasi, sevanthi and sampangi flowers. Divya Dampathis had golden color umbrella. Sri Lakshman was adorned with violet color vasthram and Sri Anjaneya wore yellow color vasthram.
The 9th day of the Sri RamaNavami Utsavam was celebrated well on 31st March 2018 (Hevilambi Panguni Uthiram). In the evening Perumal wore blue color vasthram with different designs. He was decorated beautifully with jasmines followed by a thick garland of roses, Thulasi and kanakambaram and He was adorned with maanga malai, kaasu malai, several pendants and chains. Raja Ramar adorned the beautiful golden crown and gave scintillating darshan to the devotees. After alangaram, Perumal had purappadu on kuthirai vahanam.
Several astikas participated in the Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Kothandaramar.
