As a part of ongoing Varaha Jayanthi Utsavam, on April 11, 2018 (Hevilambi Panguni-Avittam), the 3rd day was celebrated at Sri Aadhi Varahar temple, Thirukkudanthai. Alike all Utsavams, this utsavam also has Perumal purappadu amid grand celebrations. For the procession on Day 3, Sri Adhi Varahar with his consort Ambujavalli who seated in Varahar’s lap, had a beautiful alankaram adorned with jewels and garlands.
On 9th April 2018 (Panguni-Uthiradam), Varaha Jayanthi Utsavam commenced in a grand manner. For that first day event, Perumal and Thayar had a auspicious alangaram. Divyathambathis were adorned with good combination of Vasthram with maroon color for Perumal and green color for thayar. After their alangaram, purappadu took place and all the devotees received their blessings. For the second day’s event, on April 10th (Panguni-Thiruvonam), the Divyadampathis wore milk colored Vasthram which indicates peace. Likewise, Perumal’s face gave a peaceful feel to all the restless minds.
