As a part of Panguni Brahmotsavam, the 6th day was celebrated on 7th April 2018 (Hevilambi Panguni Moolam) at Sri VanPurushothama Perumal Temple, Thirunangur. In the morning Perumal, dressed in a blue and red silk vasthram with colourful designs. Ubhayanachimars had several beautiful ornaments and they wore red and green vasthram. Divyathampathis were decorated with jasmine, rose, thulasi garlands. After alangaram, They had purappadu on Indra vimanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Theertham, satari and prasadham was distributed to the devotees. On account of monthly Moolam Thirunakshathiram, Thirumanjanam was done for Swami Manavaala Mamunigal and Divyathampathis. The thirumanjanam began with water followed by milk, curds, honey, raw coconut water, sandal paste etc. Then in the evening, Perumal along with His consorts had great alanagaram. With His big crown,Kaasu Malai, Thattai Padhakkam and several ornaments, Perumal looks like a king. Thayar wore green silk saree and had beautiful alangaram. They had purappadu on Yaanai vaahanam. Several astikas participated in the Brahmotsavam and had the blessings of Sri Van Purusothama Perumal.
