On 14th April 2018, Tamizh Puthandu was celebrated in a grand manner at Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple, Pondicherry. On the occasion, Sri Varadaraja Perumal and His consorts gave scintillating darshan to the astikas in Muthangi Sevai. On the first day of this Sri Vilambi year (Chithirai Uthiratathi), hundreds of devotees participated in the panchanga patanam that took place in Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple and had the blessings of Perumal.
