On 23rd April 2018(SriVilambi Chithirai Poosam), the 3rd day of Chithirai Utsavam was celebrated grandly at Sri Sarangapani Temple, Thirukudanthai (Kumbakonam). On the occasion, Sri Aaravamudhan was decorated beautifully with flower garlands and abharanams. Then, along with Thayars, Sri Aaravamudha Perumal had purappadu on sesha vaahanam followed by Chakrapani Perumal also had purappadu on sesha vaahanam.
On 22nd April 2018, the 2nd day of Chithirai Utsavam was celebrated well. On that day, Sri Aaravamudhan Perumal had a great alangaram. After alangaram, Sri Aaravamudhan and Sri Chakrapani Perumal gave scintillating darshan to the devotees on Suryaprabhai. On 21 April 2018, the first day of Chithirai Utsavam, Sri Sarangapani Perumal was decorated beautifully with several ornaments and had Purappadu on Indira Vimanam. Perumal wore white silk vasthram and His consorts wore green and blue silk saree. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several devotees participated in the Chithirai Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Aaravamudha Perumal.
