On 23rd April 2018 (SriVilambi Chithirai Poosam), the 3rd day of the Chithirai Brahmotsavam was celebrated in Sri Veeraraghavar Temple, Thiruvallur. On the occasion. Perumal was dressed up with yellow and red vasthram and adorned with several ornaments like kaasu malai, pendants, chains and green stone fixed golden crown. He was decorated with flower garlands of kanakambaram, jasmine and thulasi. Then Perumal had purappadu on Garuda vaahanam with two big white umbrellas. Several astikas participated in the Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Veeraraghava Perumal.
