On 26th April 2018 (SriVilambi Chithirai Pooram), the 6th day of the Chithirai Brahmotsavam was celebrated at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal Temple, Thiruvallur. On the occasion, Perumal had great alangaram of Venugopala thirukolam. His consorts adorned light blue silk saree matching Perumal alankaram perfectly. In the morning, Perumal along with His consorts had choornabishekam and velli chappara thiruveedhi purappadu. In the evening Perumal gave darshan to the astikas on Yaanai vaahanam.
Earlier on 25th April 2018 (SriVilambi Chithirai Magam), the 5th day of the Chithirai Brahmotsavam was celebrated. On the occasion, Perumal was adorned with several ornaments like kaasu malai, pendants, chains and gave scintillating darshan to the astikas in Nachiyar Thirukolam.
On 24th April 2018, the 4th day of Chithirai Utsavam was celebrated well. Sri Veeraraghaava Perumal along with His consorts had great alangaram with beautiful ornaments and colorful flower garlands. Then They had purappadu on Sesha vaahanam. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several devotees participated in the Chithirai Utsavam and had the blessings of Sri Veeraraghava Perumal.
