On 25th April 2018 (SriVilambi Chithirai Magam), the 1st day of the Padmavathi Parinayotsavam was celebrated grandly at Parinaya Mandapam at Narayanagiri Gardens at Tirumala. On the occasion, Perumal was dressed up with blue silk vasthram and He was adorned with several ornaments like multiple pendants, chains, kaasu malai and blue stone fixed attractive crown. Perumal along with His consorts were decorated with flower garlands of kanakambaram, jasmine and thulasi. The processional deity of Lord Malayappa Swamy was taken to the Mandapam on Gaja Vahanam. His consorts had purappadu on a seperate kedayam. Several astikas participated in the Parinayotsavam and had the blessings of the Divyadampathis.
