On 8th May 2018 (SriVilambi Chithirai Thiruvonam), Sravana Purappadu took place grandly at Mylapore SVDD Srinivasa Perumal Temple. In the morning, Sri Srinivasa Perumal along with His consorts had Thirumanjanam. Sri Srinivasa Perumal along with His consorts and Swami Desikan had thiruveethi purappadu on this Sravanam (Acharyan’s thirunakshathram) day. Grand satrumurai and sevakalam took place with arulicheyal and veda parayana ghosti. Several astikas participated in the Sravana purappadu and had the blessings of Swami Desikan and Divyadampathis.
