On 23rd July 2018 (SriVilambi Aadi Anusham), the 2nd day of the Thirupavithrotsavam took place well at Sri Neelamega Perumal Temple, Kulithalai. In the morning, Perumal and His consorts were decorated beautifully with several ornaments and flower garlands. Homam was performed followed by puranahuti. Beautiful colourful silk pavithrams were offered to all the temple deities.
Then in the evening session, Srivilliputhur Aandal’s (Soodi Kodutha Sudarkodi) kilimalai was dedicated to Sri Neelamega Perumal followed by homam and puranahuti.
For the 3rd day (Vilambi Aadi Kettai) homam had been performed around 7.30 in the morning followed by Puranahuti around 10.30 am. After that grand satrumurai took place and finally prasadham was distributed to all the devotees.
Several astikas participated and had the blessings of Sri Neelamega Perumal.
