On July 13th 2018,Vilambi Aani Punarpoosam- Irattai Purappadu took place at Sri Rajagopala Swamy Temple, Mannargudi on account of Vellikizhamai for Sri Sengamala Thayar and Amavasai purappadu for Perumal respectively. Earlier in the day, Thirumanjanam took place for the deities. For the procession, the divyadampathis had grand alangaram with pink and blue bordered vasthram for Thayar and white golden vasthram for Perumal. The purappadu took place around the temple premises and devotees received their blessings.
