On 20th July 2018, (Vilambi-Aadi Chithirai), the first Friday of Aadi month was celebrated grandly at Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Perungalathur. On the occasion, Sri Padmavathi Thayar had a grand alankaram in a lavishing green with pink bordered vasthram and jasmine garlands. Sevaral devotees came and received the blessings of Thayar on that auspicious day.
